The Uganda Revenue Authority commissioner general Johnson Musinguzi Rujoki has promised to improve tax collection to 26%. Following the recruitment of 260 staff who are to set to work on 1st October, Rujoki has promised that with this big team, he will get his target. He added that the fact that Uganda has been collecting 13%GDP which is 17% average worldwide, it is possible for him to improve up to 26%. He also promised to fight other issues like corruption which causes setbacks.
