The inspector General of Police Martin Okotho Ochola has emphasized that they will search all places necessary in order to find the former aide to the former IGP and incarcerated Gen. Kale kayihura ACP jonathan Baroza who is missing from his duty station.
Baroza was in 2017 posted to Algeria as Uganda Police Liaison Officer from the capital Algiers by the former IGP Kayihura but he has been reportedly away without official leave AWOL since June this year.
The above prompted the acting director resource management ACP Muluya Moses to instruct the DPC Mbarara to search for him at the home of Kabiguruka Yovas of Karora Village Rugundo sub county and advising Baroza to report to his duty station by 22 this month since failure to do so he will be declared a deserter.
Responding to the question on the same Ochola questioned the wrong in supervisors searching for their subordinate adding that the search will continue in all the necessary parts of the world to find.
It should be noted that the chieftancy of military intelligency CMI for quite a while has been tracing for Baroza but in vein.
” Mbarara is part of the world, a search is like casting your net in the lake, you don’t say why is your net floating towards another side.
Where an officer abandons his duty station as his supervisors we are supposed to know where he is. It’s our duty to look for him, were is the problem in that, we want to know what has gone wrong with him. We can as well search for him in Tororo there is a big rock there, so leave issues of generals to the generals.” said Ochola
