We Can Live With Covid-19 – KACITA

Traders in Kampala under  their umbrella body, Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) have expressed dissatisfaction over the roaming second lockdown of the country. This follows allegations circulating around that there is arrangements of calling for a second lockdown due to increased affected people case and deaths of Covid-19 in the country. While addressing the media earlier today morning at KACITA headquarters Kampala,  Thadious Keno Musoke Secretary General of KACITAz said  lockdown is not the best alternative given the way other countries like USA , Germany, Russia, Spain among others including African countries have lived with the virus in a manageable manner so even Uganda can do copy than opting for second lockdown which comes with different social economical problems. Musoke adds that all those  arcades and people who don’t comply with SOPs be held accountable strongly by the enforcement which include Army, police and KCCA together with many other stakeholders than letting traders to suffer again
