254 candidates invited in Manitoba PNP latest draw

The latest Manitoba PNP draw held on December 28, 2023, saw invitations being issued to 254 candidates under three MPNP streams – Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas. Of the 254 invitations issued in this draw, 53 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Profiles declaring a Manitoba Supporter who is a close relative were considered.

• Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 160
• Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 612

International Education Stream

Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements.

• Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 67

Skilled Worker Overseas

Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

• Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 27
• Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 698

This was only the second time, Manitoba conducted an EOI draw where Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream saw invitations being issued under the “Close Relative in Manitoba Selection” category. The previous such draw was held on November 30, 2023. 

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) regularly conducts draws under its Expression of Interest (EOI) system, to select and invite candidates to apply for permanent residency. This was the third MPNP draw conducted in December.

The previous invitation round was held on December 21, 2023.
