British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) invites 444 immigrants in two provincial draws held on March 2.
Applicants who have applied for a provincial nomination through BC PNP’s Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) were invited to apply. Specifically, those who received invitations came from the skilled worker, international graduates, entry-level and semi-skilled subcategories of the SI and EEBC streams.

The minimum scores for the largest draw ranged from 83 to 97 points. 418 invitations were issued in this round of invitations. A separate draw was also made for Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers (NOC 0621) and Restaurant and Food Service Managers (NOC 0631), where 26 invitations were sent to candidates who achieved at least 118 points.
The province has now run 11 invitation rounds, bringing the total number of invitations issued to date to 1,839 in 2021.

As a Provincial Nominee, you may receive an additional 600 points to their CRS score and therefore score high enough to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a subsequent Federal Express Entry draw.
PNPs continued to operate throughout the coronavirus pandemic and there is no indication that their activities are slowing down in 2021.
Through its provincial nominee program, BC is aiming to nominate those skilled workers who are in high demand and who want to reside in the province as permanent residents.
Both streams – SI and EEBC are administered under the British Columbia Immigration Skills Registration System (SIRS). To apply through SIRS, you must first create an account. After you have created an online account, your profile will award points based on the factors such as work experience, education, and language skills, among other major factors.
The top-rated applicants from each subcategory are then invited to apply for Provincial Nomination to apply for Permanent Residence when British Columbia hosts one of its regular draws.
If you have received an invitation, you will have 30 days from the date of the invitation to submit a complete application through BC PNP’s online system.
Provinces will take 2 to 3 months to process your application. If it is successfully assessed, you will be able to apply for a PR Visa to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in the Provincial Nominee category.
