Kadondi Gracious to Represent NUP in Makerere Guild Presidency Race

Kampala-Kadondi Gracious has been announced as the flag bearer for National Unity Platform (NUP) in the forthcoming Makerere University Guild Presidency Race.

In the Party Primaries held on Monday at NUP headquarters in Kavule, Kadondi polled 580 votes defeating all the other five candidates who were in the race.

The second person in the race was Mujuzi Mike Fulugensio with 286 votes , followed by Nyaika Daniel with 261 votes. The total number of votes casted were 1230 votes and none was counted among the spoilt votes.

“I Kato Lawrence being the Presiding officer for Makerere University People Power Guild Presidential Flag Bearer primaries 2026, having added up the total number of votes cast, I therefore declare Kadondi Gracious who has obtained the highest number of votes cast.” remarked the Presiding officer.
