USSSA Ball Games 2026: Kawempe Muslim Maintain Perfect Run as Rines Join Knockout Stage Charge

Kawempe Muslim Secondary School and Rines Secondary School emerged as the standout sides as the group stage of the USSSA Ball Games I National Championships concluded, both sealing top spots and advancing confidently into the Round of 32.
Kawempe Muslim SS underlined their dominance in Group I, finishing with a perfect nine points after a commanding 3-0 victory over Mukono Kings at UCU Stadium. Goals from Kevin Nanyunja, Shadia Nabirye—who calmly converted from the penalty spot—and Cynthia Kirenga ensured Kawempe maintained their flawless run and sent a strong warning to their knockout opponents.
Rines SS also impressed, topping their group to book a place in the next round. Their consistency throughout the group stage has positioned them as one of the teams to watch as the competition intensifies.
With the group phase wrapped up, attention now shifts to the highly anticipated Round of 32 knockout fixtures, where teams will battle for a place in the last 16.
