He said the teams must observe full vigilance and good intelligence work to forestall any negative and criminal activities of wrong elements saying that he knows his teams have capacity to secure the event and ensure peace and law and order in the region.

SSP Achiria oversees police operations in Bushenyi, Buhweju, Mitooma, Rubirizi, and Sheema districts.
He assured the participants of the Tooke Run that security is in check by displaying how security officials have been deployed at different points of each and every route.
The deployment being done with UPDF both and Uganda Police and other security agencies will ensure that security is kept in check in the entire region to secure the run and ensure general law and order in the region.
Amb. Henry Mugisha addressing the meeting
Both Amb. Henry Mugisha and the RPC talked about putting into account the SOPs regarding the Ebola situation in Uganda during this event. They said if the participants and the officials observe the Ebola SOPs the run will be conducted well and safely.
