KAMPALA, UGANDA – Amb. Kambula Milton, the Country Director of Global Peace Foundation Uganda and a member of the Advisory Council of the International Educators for World Peace at the United Nations, has added another prestigious international leadership role to his growing portfolio after being appointed Country Representative and Ambassador for Uganda by the Leaders Without Borders Development Centre (LWB).
The appointment places Kambula among a select group of global leadership advocates entrusted with advancing the organization’s vision of leadership development, international cooperation, and capacity building across nations.
As part of his new responsibilities, Kambula is expected to participate in the highly anticipated Executive Leadership Training and Study Tour scheduled to take place in Singapore from August 11 to August 15, 2026. The global gathering will attract heads of state, diplomats, business executives, policymakers, and influential leaders from various countries.
According to event organizers, the summit will focus on leadership excellence, international networking, business development opportunities, and knowledge exchange among some of the world’s most accomplished decision-makers.
Kambula is also expected to deliver remarks before a distinguished audience of international leaders, further elevating Uganda’s representation on the global stage.
Despite assuming the new appointment, sources close to the leadership advocate have confirmed that he will continue serving as Country Director of Global Peace Foundation Uganda, effectively managing both positions simultaneously.
“This is a call to greater service,” Kambula reportedly remarked while reflecting on the new responsibility. “Leadership is about creating opportunities for transformation and connecting people across borders for the common good.”
The latest appointment comes at a significant moment in Kambula’s personal and professional journey, having recently graduated from Makerere University, one of Africa’s most respected academic institutions.
Observers say the combination of academic achievement, peace-building work, and international leadership exposure positions him among Uganda’s emerging voices in global diplomacy and leadership development.
Leaders Without Borders Development Centre is an international organization dedicated to nurturing transformative leadership through executive training, strategic partnerships, global study tours, and cross-border collaboration initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development worldwide.
With his expanding international engagements, Kambula is expected to strengthen Uganda’s visibility within influential global leadership networks while championing peace, education, and socio-economic transformation initiatives both locally and internationally.
The Singapore summit is anticipated to serve as a major platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas among leaders shaping the future of governance, business, and international development.
