Since it’s a heated political season in the entire Uganda. Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire used the opportunity of dedicating s4 and s6 students of St. Kana international school to call upon voters in Uganda to desist from demanding money from their leaders because it’s a bad practice and must be discarded.
The no nonsense minister of internal affairs used the opportunity to tell voters that its normally the patients who pay doctors but not vice versa.
He added that voters have turned elections into a business to survive on- begging their intended leaders. He said this must stop.
He also noted that voters are the bosses of the candidates therefore they should rather sponsor them instead of demanding money from them.
Voting for president of Uganda will be on Jan 14, 2026 as well as MPs. Other political leaders will follow thereafter.
St. Kana international school started in 2017 and is located in Kashozi near Kizinda Kogoma town council in Bushenyi district.
The director of the school Mr. Naboth Kajungu hailed parents, teachers, PTA and Board for helping him to steer the school further.
Emeritus Bishop of west Ankole diocese Rt Rev. Yona Mwesigwa Katoneene led the service to dedicate candidates assisted by the area archdeacon Rev. Canon Bathel Namara.
