This is some bs. So Holly, Bridgette, and Marston can't have opinions? Get the fuck outta here Crystal! Crystal is petty af.
Doesn't make sense. Wasn't Holly saying how after certain previous girlfriends getting expensive lavish gifts it was too much, the company wasn't making as much and they put Hef on a budget, he had to pay the company rent for their rooms etc. So after going and listening to the podcast episode it makes sense with the whole hierarchy system as Marston was saying. Even if Hef was incapacitated it wouldn't be possible for Crystal to control his money 'cause Holly already made it seem like Playboy the company controls his money which Marston was saying similar things like he had to go through the hierarchy to get to his dad or his trust money. But maybe Crystal did build a team around her on her side, promising them favours or benefits if they did what she wanted, sounds plausible. Ah I really want someone to deep dive dig deeper into what went on behind the scenes with his money, if Crystal was a gold digger or how much of one she was. Maybe just being his wife Crystal had more legal rights to be in control of it and/or receive more of it after he passed. Or a combo of that and her vaulting to the top of the hierarchy. But for years it's came across as he really wasn't that rich towards the end. Marston pretty much confirmed it when he said his dad was trying to purchase her a mansion but his ppl were telling him not to 'cause he couldn't afford it. In my thoughts I think he shouldn't have married that late, just have a girlfriend or just friends, family, care workers, so he could have left more to his children. I've read both Holly's books, haven't read Crystal's to compare. I'm not in that country but I thought that free speech yeah, but you can't just make up lies about ppl that would tarnish their image/reputation/character 'cause you can sue them for slander or defamation. You're allowed to speculate but not lie and present it as being the truth. Marston multiple times said the equivalent of speculation warning, this is just a theory, like other content creators. He kept saying "this is just my opinion", this is what I've heard from others, this might just be a rumour, this might not be true but he's hearing it from ppl close to Crystal or the situation. Holly and Bridget give their own experiences as examples and identify where it differs from what Crystal is saying, Marston does the same. And Holly says that's just her experience, she doesn't know how things were actually like for Crystal. Crystal can send as many legal letters as she likes, it's just a scare tactic. Really after listening to the podcast episode Crystal doesn't really have a legal leg to stand on in my view. Holly wasn't accusing Crystal of doping him up to control his money. Marston was doing most of the talking and explaining it was because of his dad's back pain he was having pain meds which made him out of it. Crystal may or may not have been taking advantage of that. It's a bit suspicious that the will was changed when he was apparently out of it but he was legally competent 'cause no one wanted to take Marston serious and have him tested and declared as legally incompetent. As Bridgit said, it makes sense if the things changed are going in your favour, you wouldn't say no, don't change it. It's fair enough to have questions about such things. Maybe Crystal is just trying to shut things down 'cause ppl are getting close to the truth and/or playing the victim. Which I thought that Holly and Bridget were more there for the worst times with the mean girls and how they and Hef treated them but after watching the Twins on that recentish documentary it didn't sound like he or situations he had them in improved at all so I'm open to what Crystal has to say but I'm mindful of any inconsistencies ppl close to ppl at the playboy mansion etc. There's a pattern of young ladies in over their head getting something they couldn't get or would be harder for them to get by themselves and being trapped for a bit with no back up to get out, no job, no place to go, no savings 'cause he wouldn't let them have those things, he sounded really insecure squeezing them into such a position to make it hard for them to leave rather than staying 'cause things are actually good and they want to stay. But Holly and Bridgit did leave and Crystal could've left if she wanted. I don't feel that sorry for her.
