The Alberta Advantage Immigrant Program (AAIP) conducted back-to-back Express Entry draws in the month of May. A series of five consecutive invitation rounds saw NOI letters being issued to a total of 327 candidates under AAIP’s Express Entry stream.
Alberta Express Entry Draw Requirement in 2023
The following requirements will apply to Alberta Express Entry draws scheduled to be conducted in 2023:
- 25% of the nominations will be allocated to candidates whose profession is mentioned on the Alberta Occupation In-demand List – and has a family connection in Alberta.
- 50% of the nominations will be allocated to candidates whose primary occupation is in the healthcare, construction, agriculture, hospitality, and tourism sectors.
- 25% of the nominations will be allocated to candidates under Alberta’s Accelerated Tech Pathway.

If you have received an NOI letter from Alberta, you must now send a copy of the letter – along with additional information to the Alberta Advantage Immigrant Program (AAIP) by email within 2 weeks of receiving the letter.
