According to the Police Statement released on Monday evening after his appearance before City Hall Magistrates Court, Nsiima was convicted by Police disciplinary Court on charges of behaving scandalously.

“He appeared in the police disciplinary court on October 10, 2025, where he was charged with behaving in a scandalous manner. The court recommended a sentence of dismissal,” reads part of the statement from Police

However, as per the rules of natural justice, Nsiima still has a chance to appeal this decision and once he fails or it turns out not in his favor, the Police Authority will have to seat and okay the process.

The law grants powers to the Police Authority to handle cases involving dismissal of officers from the Police starting at the rank of ASP upwards.

Nsiima was seen in a viral video slapping Atuhumuriize Pellan, a supermarket attendant at Kyanja after reminding him to clear his bill which he didn’t want to pay. In the process of the assault, he damaged shop attendant’s Infinix Mobile phone.

On Monday, he was formally charged before City Hall Grade one Magistrate Nicholas Asiu, who remanded him to Luzira prison until 16th October 2025.
