Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has named the preliminary squad to face Uganda Cranes and South Sudan in two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September 2024.
The AFCON qualifier with the Cranes will be played at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg on Friday, 06 September 2024.
After facing Uganda, Bafana Bafana will travel to South Sudan to play their second match in the group on Tuesday, 10 September 2024.
Congo is the other nation in Group K and the top two top finishers will qualify for the tournament to be hosted in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
South Africa finished third at the previous AFCON, after they were eliminated by Nigeria in shootouts at the semis.
