The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the second Skills Immigration draw conducted by the province in September.
If you have been invited in this BC PNP latest draw, you must submit a complete application for PR within 30 days. If this timeframe passes, your invitation will no longer be valid.
BC PNP Latest Draw – Results
The BC PNP latest draw was held on September 10, 2024. A total of 156 candidates were invited across a Skills Immigration draw. Invited candidates required a minimum score of 80 to be eligible for an invitation.
Selection Factors
Targeted invitations in this Skills Immigration draw were issued based on the following selection factors:
- Education – level and field of education and where it was completed
- Eligible professional designations in B.C.
- Language skills
- Occupation
- Duration and skill level of work experience
- Wage and/or skill level of job offer
- Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
- Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives
Currently, 80% of the applications under the British Columbia PNP Skills Immigration category are processed within 8 to 10 months.
The province conducts 4-5 draws every month – usually on a Tuesday. If you did not get invited in this BC PNP latest draw, do not withdraw your application. You may receive an invitation in the upcoming BC PNP draw. The next BC PNP draw is projected to be conducted on September 17, 2024.
