British Columbia invited 10,061 candidates across 51 Skills Immigration draws in 2023. The province conducted 4 draws almost every month in 2023 under the BC PNP. The same trend is expected to be carried out in 2024.
Securing a provincial nomination under BC PNP requires you to first confirm your eligibility for the specific stream you’re interested in – Skilled Immigration or Entrepreneur Immigration. Once confirmed, you’ll need to create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile and provide accurate details about your education, work experience, and language skills. If your EOI is selected, you’ll receive a provincial nomination certificate from BC PNP in a subsequent BC PNP draw. You can then use this nomination to apply for Canadian permanent residency with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
