British Columbia immigration has given 89 invites to skilled professionals, and overseas graduates in a new BC PNP Tech draw. Invitations were issued on November 30th through four streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. The highlighted streams were SI-Skilled Worker, SI-International Graduate, EEBC – Skilled Worker, and EEBC – International Graduate, all of which required a minimum score of 78.
The BC PNP Tech Pilot program has been rebranded as BC PNP Tech and is now a permanent immigration stream. It was first introduced in 2017. It includes a list of 29 target jobs with flexible time needs. In May 2017, BC PNP draws geared exclusively towards technology employees began. The province boasts a robust technological economy, with some of the world’s biggest names in technology-based in Canada’s westernmost province.
BC PNP Tech Job requirements:
- A job offer for one of the 29 targeted vocations is required
- The job offer must be for at least one year
- At the time of application, the job offer must be valid for at least 120 days
