Onduparaka will miss the services of two of their key forward players when they visit Big League table leaders Police at Kavumba on Sunday, May 19.

The Caterpillars will be without James Jarieko and Ezra Bida, who will both sit out for the match against the Cops, serving accumulated yellow cards suspensions respectively.

Meanwhile, Davis Mayanja, Brian Ade and Jimmy Pirio who were doubtful for the clash have been confirmed to be available for selection on Sunday.

Both teams fired blanks as their first meeting this season ended goalless at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua. It is however expected to be a more lively affair at Kavumba, with both sides getting closest to their respective targets.

Police come to this particular match seeking to return to winning ways, having narrowly lost their most recent match 1-0 to Kiyinda Boys.

Meanwhile, Onduparaka travel to Kavumba following a very important victory at home – Nelson Mandela scored a late winner for the Caterpillars to beat Booma 1-0 in Arua.

With just three games left to the end of the season, Onduparaka’s Sunday opponents lead the 15-team table with 47 points from 24 games.

Meanwhile, after 24 games, Onduparaka have accumulated 41 points, and the top three qualification slots are still in reach – the Caterpillars are still contending to return to the Premier League.

Under former Arua Hill tactician Ahmed Borini, the Arua-based side is just two points shy of the third-placed team on the Big League table – three points would brighten their promotion chances.
