Bobi wine Blocked Me on all Platforms – Bugiri MP Basalirwa

Hon. Asuman Basalirwa, Bugiri Municipality Member of Parliament and the President of JEEMA Political party, has expressed dis- satisfaction with the manner in which Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi wine , once his close friend is handling their misunderstanding.

“This is not the Bobi Wine I knew from Kyadondo. The one of those days used to listen and call you wherever he had an issue with you, here my children will tell you that he used to come at our home during evening hours and he could summon me at Magere some times.” Remarked Basalirwa during a television interview

He added that ever since the passing of the Anti Homosexual Act, Kyagulanyi changed that during one moment as he appeared on BBC Television, he accused the people behind that law of targeting him in its enactment.

“It should be remembered that , I was the mover of that law and I did it having been sent by my electorates from Bugiri. If you want to find out about the truth of this matter, you go and ask what Mr Saidi Kagere, the NRM Chairperson in Bugiri told us.”

Basalirwa noted that to make matters worse, Hon. Kyagulanyi went ahead and blocked him on the platforms they used to use in communicating thus leaving him without any means of engagement.

During his campaigns in Bugiri a week back, Bobi wine asked the people of that area to vote out Asuman Basalirwa whom he accused of siding with the oppressors, thereby ignoring the Interests of the people.
