CBS Pewosa Nsindikanjake 2024 exhibition has come to an end, Minister Musenero commends the innovators
The Cbs Pewosa exhibition has come to an end, with people showcasing their creativity and skills as well as adding quality to their products.
The week-long exhibition was attended by large and small industries exhibiting their products. The Gombe Medical Service has provided free medical treatment to more than 10,000 Kabaka’s people.
Many various government agencies participated in the exhibition providing free services including Judicial Service Commission, National Coffee Development Authority , Electoral Commission, Uganda Publishing and Printing Company.
The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) educated people on the benefits of saving, the National Drug Authority educated youth on drug use, and the Uganda Revenue Authority educated Ugandans on their responsibilities of paying taxes and so on.
Various companies including Movit , CFAO Motors electric vehicle dealers, Simba Automotive , Haujue , Rosefoam , Sumzs, Nice House of Plastics , Centenary Bank , Royal Foam , CHINT Electronics, cooperatives especially those with Cbs Pewosa system all participated in the Exhibition of Cbs Pewosa to showcase their products.
The Minister of Science and Technology Dr. Monica Musenero who opened the exhibition praised the innovations displayed and said this gives hope and Uganda will soon start making its own products, reducing on the importation of everything from the western countries.
Minister Musenero promised that the government will entrust people especially small scale industries to increase their productivity to improve quality.
The.exhibition featured prize winnings especially a brand new motorcycle from Simba Automotive which was won by the exhibitors. Young people who are not afraid to get tested for diseases, especially HIV.
The Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) has trained farmers in quality and improvement of their cultivation.
They combine quality with their products especially in in the Cbs Pewosa groups which include exhibitors of wine made from milk, potatoes, coconuts and more. Some of the participants of the Cbs Pewosa exhibition appreciated the initiative and thanked Cbs for the initiatives.
