Ethiopian Premier League side Sidama Coffee has unveiled 2023/24 Uganda Premier League (UPL) Golden Glove winner, Thomas Ikara.
The Ugandan goalkeeper has signed a two year contract with the Ethiopian side, following an impressive season with BUL in the UPL.
Ikara kept 12 clean-sheets as the Eastern Giants narrowly missed out on the league title, having finished second on the table, with 56 points – just one less than eventual champions SC Villa (67).
The Uganda Cranes custodian has also previously played for KCCA, Police and Mbarara City in the UPL.
Ikara’s new club finished eleventh of 16 clubs in the league last season, having accumulated 40 points from 30 games, comprising 11 wins, 7 draws and 12 losses.
