The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its third Express Entry draw of the week. This was also the sixth invitation round conducted by the department in November.
Candidates invited in this Express Entry latest draw will now have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the IRCC. The Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid if this timeframe passes.
Express Entry Latest Draw – Results
The Express Entry latest draw was held on November 20, 2024. A total of 3,000 ITAs were issued to candidates under the Express Entry’s Healthcare Occupations category. Candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 463 to be eligible for an invitation.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score in the Express Entry latest draw, the CRS score cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
This was only the sixth Healthcare Occupations invitation round, since category-based Express Entry draws were introduced in May 2023.
To be eligible to apply under the Healthcare Occupations category, you must:
- Have at least 6 months of full-time, continuous work experience within the past 3 years in Canada or abroad, in one of the 35 NOCs targeted for the Healthcare Occupations Category.
- Meet all of the requirements in the instructions for that round.

Including the Express Entry latest draw, IRCC has invited 5,507 candidates in November.

Usually, draws under the Express Entry Program are held every two weeks. However, IRCC has held a very unusual pattern for Express Entry draws in 2024. For example, IRCC conducted nine Express Entry draws in July that invited over 25,000 candidates. On the other hand, the department conducted only three Express Entry draws in September. Whereas in October, the department again issued six draws. This has made it difficult to predict when the next Express Entry draw will be conducted.
