GERMANS DONATE SOLAR SYSTEM WORTH 134M TO BUSHENYI-ISHAKA MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

The Germans from Kronshagen municipality have donated 120M to Bushenyi-Ishaka municipal council to solve the problem of electricity which is generally unreliable in Uganda
The complete solar system was launched by the RDC Bushenyi Mr. Emmy Ngabirano and the Germans led by Mrs. Eve Onash and town clerk Mr. Nuwamanya Robert heading the technical wing while the political wing led by the Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality mayor Richard Byaruhaga Katerane.
The project focal person the Mr. Gilbert Boona who also doubles as deputy town clerk told www.mknewslin.com that the friendship between Kronshagen and Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality has been fruitful because a lot has been achieved.
The two municipalities have named streets after themselves; the Nyamushekyera road was named after the german municipality Kronshagen and there is a street in Kronshagen which was named after Bushenyi-Ishaka.
According to the mayor Bushenyi Ishaka municipality Mr. Richard Byaruhanga, he appealed to the Germans to provide solar system to Bushenyi health center iv because electricity is un reliable and sometimes power goes off while in the middle of operation.
The Germans never answered him directly but the municipal council provided a proposal to the Germans appearing optimistic that the solar system for Bushenyi health center iv and Nyamiko health center iii will be provided.
