Ggaba Murder : Christopher Okello, Charged

Makindye Senior Grade one Magistrate, Her Worship Nanjala Aidah, charged Christopher Onyum Okello, 39 years old , a resident of Kyanja in Kampala District with murder of four children.

Okello who was brought at Makindye Magistrates Court under tight security, he has been charged with four counts of murder contrary to section 171 and 172 of Penal Code Act.

He has been remanded to Prison up to tomorrow, Wednesday April 8th 2026 when he will appear again for mentioning of his case.

Prosecution alleges, that Christopher Okello Onyum on 2nd April at Ggaba early Childhood Development Center at Ggaba Trading Zone, Ggaba Parish, Makindye Division, Kampala District with Malice a fore sought, caused the death of Eteku Gideon, Keith Agenorwoth Otim, Sseruyange Ignatius and Odeke Ryan.

This incident shocked everyone body both in the country and thus the matter was widely publicized both locally and internationally.
