The police yesterday on the 22nd of March raided the National Unity Platform offices in Kavule, detaining some of the key leaders of the party.
The party’s deputy president Dr Lena Zedriga,Mp Francis Zaake,Mp Hassan Kirumira,and Mp Charles Tebandeke were arrested and produced before court yesterday.
They were remanded to prison alongside other members of the party, until further notice.
- However ,today on the 23rd of March which is the day of the march to parliament against corruption, there is a heavy deployment of the military police in the center of Kampala .
