According to information gathered by Police Crime Intelligence, Lujja Bbosa Tabula, the suspected mastermind behind the murder of Daniel Bbosa, former head of the Ndiga clan, may be hiding in Kenya. Bbosa, who also served as the proprietor of Transa Electrical Company Limited, was fatally shot inside his car last month in Lungujja-Rubaga Division, Kampala.
On Monday morning, five individuals, including Lujja Noah, Harriet Nakiguli, Joseph Nakabale, Ezra Mayanja, and Milly Naluwenda, were brought before court in connection with Bbosa’s murder and subsequently remanded to Luzira prison. The Police had previously announced a nationwide search for Tabula, offering a bounty of Shillings 10 million for any information leading to his arrest.
During a press briefing at the police headquarters in Naguru, Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga stated that efforts to locate Tabula are ongoing. Despite receiving various tips from the public, including from regions such as Kalangala, Buikwe, and Ibanda, none have proven fruitful thus far.
Enanga revealed, “We have received information suggesting that the suspect may have fled the country and could be hiding in Kenya. However, no corner of the world is too remote for the joint intelligence agencies to pursue.” He urged the public to continue providing information, emphasizing that the bounty remains available.

“Crime Intelligence and other agencies are leveraging all available resources to apprehend the suspect, and the Shillings 10 million reward is still in effect for credible information,” Enanga reiterated.
Despite the challenges encountered in the search for the fugitive, law enforcement remains committed to bringing Tabula to justice, with efforts extending beyond national borders in pursuit of the truth behind the tragic killing of Daniel Bbosa.
