Canada’s Express Entry Program
Canada’s Express Entry Program is a fast-track system for skilled workers who want to immigrate to Canada. It manages applications for three economic immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
- Federal Skilled Trades Program
- Canadian Experience Class
Applicants create an online profile and are scored based on factors like age, education, work experience, and language skills. The highest-ranking candidates receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency. This program is popular because it offers a clear and efficient pathway to becoming a permanent resident of Canada.
Currently, 80% of applications are processed within 6 to 8 months.
