Journalists Award Golden Innovator Dr. Ssenfuka For His Outstanding Role In Research, Asks President Museveni To Work On His Pledge Towards His Research.

The Golden Innovator, Herbal Researcher David Ssenfuka has implored relevant agencies mandated by the president to support his work to expeditiously work on the pledges the president made towards his research in herbal medicines.
Ssenfuka who's the proprietor of Leonia NNN Medical Research and Diagnostic Centre in Kasubi said, it’s important for the government to hurriedly support his innovation so that people can get the cancer and Diabetes remedies.
While, speaking after receiving an award of "Best Herbal Researcher For Remedies" from Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) for his tremendous work toward Cancer treatment and Diabetes, Ssenfuka noted that he met a team from State House to brief them about the progress of his research as well as the threats to his work and life and he yet to get response from them. Meanwhile am grateful for the media because it does a pivotal role in the development of the nation.
However Ssenfuka applauded journalist for giving indigenous researcher platform to get their work known for the development of the country and the health sector.
Dr Moses Mpairwe from Leonia NNN Medical Research and Diagnostic Centre blamed some of his fellow doctors for refusing to offer Senfuka technical assistance and delayed government assistance.
Before administering my medicine to cancer patients, I first ensure through medical consultations that safety measures are first carried out and the dosage administered is also guided to me by officials from the Ministry of Health (MOH)
All happens, during a dinner held at Hotel Africana in Kampala, the Vice Chancellor of Victoria University Dr. Lawrence Muganga was also awarded as the best innovative educator whereas Dr.Sam Kazibwe was recognized as the best media researcher, John Kakande(lifetime achievement award), Joshua Kyalimpa(media development award) and Milton Kambula got a peace award.
This comes at the time when public realized that with herbal medicine, Uganda can help deal with a number of illnesses.
