Journalists launch Fundraising Campaign to Save Omutaka Divosh

Kampala-Journalists from various media houses, former media practitioners and key stakeholders in the Public Relations field, have launched a Campaign to support former UBC Journalist Omutaka Divosh Kizito who suffered a stroke.

The Campaign entitled “Save Omutaka Divosh” will take place on 28th March 2026 at Be Born in Christ Church in Gayaza Kayebe starting at 1pm.

According to the organizers, the Campaign is expected to raise funds from journalists and other stakeholders through voluntary contributions.

Divosh who gained popularity in the Media during the days of the defunct Record Television as a news Anchor before joining Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC), suffered stroke and for a long period of time he has been bedridden.

He has not been working for so long and yet he has responsibilities like any other man.
