The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the third BC PNP draw held in July. BC conducts a new draw every week – usually on a Wednesday. The previous invitation rounds were held on July 03 and July 09, 2024.
Latest BC PNP Draw – Results
The latest BC PNP draw held on July 16, 2024, invited 72 candidates with work experience in in-demand occupations. Invited candidates required a minimum score of 80 to be eligible for an invitation.
If you were invited in this draw, you will have 30 days to submit a complete permanent residency (PR) application to the BC PNP.
If you did not get invited
If you did not receive an invitation, your profile will remain active in the pool of candidates. You may receive an invitation in the next BC PNP draw. The next BC PNP draw is projected to be conducted on July 23, 2024.
Immigrating to British Columbia
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has two main categories:
- Skilled Immigration: Skilled Worker, Health Authority, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled (ELSS), International Graduate, and International Post-Graduate.
- Entrepreneur Immigration: Base stream and Regional Pilot.
To secure a nomination under BC PNP, you must first confirm your eligibility for the specific stream you’re interested in, like skilled workers or entrepreneurs. Once confirmed, you’ll need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) online and provide accurate details about your education, work experience, and language skills.
If your EOI is selected, you’ll receive an invitation to apply for nomination from BC PNP. The EOI selection process is based on the score you achieve in the BC PNP points calculator. With a nomination, you can submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR).
In 2023, the (BC PNP) invited over 10,000 candidates across Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur Immigration draws. The same trend is expected to be followed in 2024 as well.
