Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry draw. Just yesterday, the department invited 2,985 candidates across a PNP-specific Express Entry draw.
The latest Express Entry draw held on May 31, 2024, issued ITAs to candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Candidates required a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 522 to be eligible.
This was also the first Express Entry draw targeted specifically for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates since September 14, 2021. The temporary pause resulted from the massive backlog in applications caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is one of the three economic immigration programs managed under the Express Entry program. CEC is designed to help skilled workers who have already gained work experience in Canada to apply for Canada PR. The CEC is an attractive option for many because it values Canadian work experience and allows applicants to transition smoothly from temporary to permanent status.
To be eligible, you must have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada within 36 months of the application date and meet the minimum Canadian Level Benchmark (CLB) of CLB 7 (for TEER 0 or TEER 1 jobs) or CLB 5 (for TEER 2 or TEER 3 jobs).
