The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted a new Expression of Interest (EOI) draw. This was the third EOI draw conducted by the province in August.
Manitoba regularly holds draws through its EOI system, inviting candidates from the pool to submit a complete application for permanent residence to the MPNP. If you receive an invitation in the latest Manitoba PNP draw, you will have 60 days to submit your PR application along with all required supporting documents. If you miss this deadline, your invitation will expire and no longer be valid.

Manitoba PNP EOI System
Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) is the initial step in immigrating to Manitoba through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). An EOI is not an application but rather an online profile. Anyone interested in relocating to Manitoba must first submit an EOI.
While creating your EOI, you will need to answer a series of questions. Upon completion, you will receive EOI ranking points based on your responses.
EOI’s Ranking System
The EOI ranking system allocates points based on six factors:
- Age (Maximum points: 75)
- Language Proficiency (Maximum points: 125)
- Education (Maximum points: 125)
- Work Experience (Maximum points: 175)
- Adaptability (Maximum points: 500)
- Risk (Maximum points: -200)
After submitting your EOI, your profile is added to a pool of eligible candidates. The Manitoba PNP (MPNP) periodically conducts draws to invite the highest-scoring candidates from this pool to submit a full application for permanent residence. There are no limits on the number of candidates who can submit an EOI, and there is no deadline for submitting one.
On average, 80% of applications under the MPNP are processed within 8-10 months.
