Manitoba invited 650 candidates under its latest PNP draw

0

On September 23, Manitoba asked 650 immigrant applicants to file for a provincial nomination.

Candidates who have been invited to participate in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) are now able to do so. If they obtain the nomination, they will be eligible to apply as Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates, which will assist their eventual application for Canadian permanent residency.

The most recent draw yielded the following results:

Manitoba Skilled Workers: 529 invites with a minimum EOI score of 401

Overseas Skilled Workers: 67 invites with a minimum EOI score of 718 and

International Education Stream: 54 invites are available with no EOI score required.

Candidates for the Express Entry program got a total of 135 invitations, commonly known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs).

The Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program all use Express Entry as a management system for permanent residency applications.

It is possible to circumvent the PNP procedure and get a permanent residency invitation by applying directly through Express Entry. Given the 600-point reward, having a provincial nomination almost guarantees that Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada will invite you to apply for Canadian permanent residency.

When you submit your profile, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) evaluates you based on your age, job experience, education, and language abilities, among other factors.

The highest-scoring people are invited to apply for permanent residency through regular Express Entry draws. Applying for a provincial nomination is the initial step in submitting a profile to the Express Entry pool in Manitoba.

Manitoba’s immigration programs are overseen by the MPNP, which facilitates immigration applications to the federal government. Provinces in Canada cannot award permanent status, although they can help applicants by providing provincial nominations.

You must first submit an Expression of Interest to the MPNP to be considered for a nomination from Manitoba. Then, you’ll be eligible for an LAA through the Manitoba Skilled Workers and Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas programs.

Manitoba then assigns a score out of 1,000 to candidates based on their human capital and links to the province. Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba are categories designed to assist Manitoba in locating persons who meet the province’s labour market criteria.

Candidates from outside Manitoba must have links to the province, such as close family ties, prior experience in the province, or an invitation from one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives. To be eligible, you do not need to be a Manitoba resident at the time of your application. But you must have a full-time employment offer from a Manitoba employer to be eligible for an invitation under the Skilled Workers Category in Manitoba.

If international graduates complete their studies in Manitoba, they may be eligible for an invitation under the International Education Stream if their talents are in demand.
