The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is designed to attract international graduates, skilled workers, and businessmen to live and work in Manitoba. The province selects and nominates candidates who meet its labour market and economic needs.
Candidates are evaluated based on factors including Age, Language Proficiency, Work Experience, Adaptability and more – collectively classified under the Manitoba PNP points calculator. The higher the score, the more the chances of receiving a provincial nomination in the next Manitoba PNP draw.
Manitoba PNP draws are held every two weeks, with some exceptions. The number of invites, the stream to be targeted, the minimum score, and other details are not published beforehand. On average, 80% of applications under the MPNP are processed within 8-10 months.
