Mayiga Commends Kings College Budo for Preserving Legacy

Budo– The Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga has commended the staff and leadership of Kings College Budo, for preserving the legacy of Daudi Chwa II, who gave the land on which this school sits, and in strengthening the school’s infrastructure.

While officiating the grand opening of Daudi Chwa building at Kings College Budo, Mayiga

called upon the people of the Kingdom and Ugandans at large to put more focus on educating their children for sustainable Country development.

“I commend Canon John Fred Kazibwe, the outgoing Headteacher, for his visionary and dedicated leadership, which has continued to uplift standards and entrench discipline and excellence within the institution. His service to the Kingdom and to education will be remembered with gratitude.” Remarked Mayiga

At this event, Archbishop Kazimba Mugalu has thanked Kings College for educating the Children of the nation.

The newly launched Daudi Chwa Block

John Fred Kazibwe , the head teacher of this school, who is expected to retire very soon, threw light on a number of achievements he has registered during his tenure including construction of several buildings

The event attracted dignitaries from Buganda Government, Central Government, Religious leaders , Academic staff of Budo, parents and well wishers.
