My Electorates have the Final Say – MP Bagala

MITYANA– Hon. Joyce Bagala, Mityana Woman Member of Parliament  on National Unity Platform (NUP) Party Flag, a day after being denied the same flag to contest in the 2026 General elections, has revealed her next move.

“The mandate that took me to Parliament was given to me by the people of Mityana. I have been consulting them and I hope all of you , have heard what they say.”

She emphasized that the party has a right to give it’s Card to anybody they seem fit, but the final say depends on the voters’ decision.

With above submissions, Bagala has joined a list of NUP incumbents who participated in the Party’s vetting process, sure that they will retain the flag, but instead things turned the other way round.

Joyce Bagala lost the party flag to Proscovia Mukisa, the new entrant in the league.
