New Quebec Arrima Draw Invites 30 Immigration Candidates

0

On May 5th, Quebec conducted a new draw under the Arrima Expression of Interest (EOI) system.

This Quebec Immigration draw issued invitations to 30 Canada Immigration candidates with a job offer from an employer outside the Montreal Metropolitan Area.

There was no minimum score required in the Quebec Expression of Interest points system.

Targeted candidates that received an invitation now have 60 days to submit a complete application to the Quebec Skilled Worker Program.

How does Quebec’s Expression of Interest (EOI) work?

Quebec’s EOI is a 5-step process:

STEP 1: Submit an online Expression of Interest profile via Arrima.

STEP 2: Profiles are placed on the EOI pool, where they are ranked against each other using a point-based system. Profiles in the EOI pool are valid for 12 months.

STEP 3: The highest-scoring candidates are invited to apply for a Quebec Certificate of Selection (CSQ) under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program through periodic draws.

STEP 4: Candidates that receive an invitation to apply will have 60 days to submit a complete application.

STEP 5: Approved candidates with a CSQ may then apply to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Canadian permanent residency

Quebec’s Expression of Interest Points System

Quebec’s Expression of Interest points system ranks profiles submitted under the Arrima to the Expression of Interest – where the highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for Quebec immigration under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).

The minimum cut-off score for participating in the Quebec Canada Immigration Skilled Worker Program is 50 points for single applicants and 59 points for couples.
