Ugandan striker Alfred Leku has officially been unveiled as a new Kenya Police FC player.
The Nairobi-club publicly introduced Leku to the fans on the Police FC Day, on Saturday, August 10, before a friendly match which they won 1-0 Shabana FC.
Leku also featured in the game played at the Police SACCO stadium over the weekend.
The gigantic striker is over excited to find a new football family, just shortly after leaving Rwanda’s Kiyovu Sports.
Leku spent just one season in Rwanda, where he had joined Kiyovu from URA in August 2023, and signed a two-year deal then, but left halfway through his contract.
Leku helped Kiyovu finish sixth on the 16-team Rwanda Premier League table, as they gathered 44 points from 30 games.
The striker had also spent just a few months at URA, after returning to the Uganda Premier League (UPL) following a brief stint at Zambia’s Zesco United.
Leku had also previously played for Arua Hill SCC, Proline FC, Express FC and Vipers SC in Uganda.
At Police, Leku reunites with his West Nile Province comrade and former Arua Hill teammate, Rashid Toha.
