Open Letter To M7 From Concerned NRM Youths Requesting The President To Appoint Nakku Fiona As The Minister in Charge Of Youth 

Your Excellency, Kaguta Museveni, I hope this finds you in good health as you lead Uganda toward prosperity under the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

As a senior cadre, supporter and leader in the NRM, I respectfully recommend Fiona Nakku

 for your consideration for the position of Minister in Charge of Youth and this is based on her outstanding leadership and contributions towards the youth not only of the party but all Ugandans at large.  

Your Excellency, am glad that Hon. Nakku had the honor of meeting you and am hoping that she had the opportunity to explain everything to your Excellency. She is very passionate when it comes to youth empowerment a thing that aligns with your vision of socio-economic transformation.

Though disqualified from the NRM Youth MP primaries, Nakku’s capabilities remain exceptional. The qualities below are those that I think are key and ideal thus making her a suitable candidate for the ministerial role:  

1. Strong Mobilization Skills: Nakku rallied youth across regions like Elgon, Lango, and Wakiso, securing NRM delegate endorsements through rallies and social media. She can unify youth for programs like the Parish Development Model and Emyooga.  

2. Economic Empowerment Expertise: She advocates for a youth enterprise fund, expanded SACCOs, and skilling programs to tackle unemployment, aligning with the ministry’s goals for equitable resource access.  

3. Commitment to Social Issues: Nakku fights teenage pregnancies through education and healthcare reforms, mentoring girls and promoting inclusive policies for marginalized youth.  

4. NRM Loyalty and Vision: A dedicated NRM cadre, she aligns with your transformation goals, pushing for stronger Youth League-government ties with integrity and follow-through.  

5. Resilient Leadership: Despite disqualification, she endorsed other candidates, showing party unity. Her strategic rise in the primaries and problem-solving skills make her a unifying, visionary leader.  

Your Excellency, appointing Hon. Nakku would leverage her mobilization, policy innovation, and dedication to advance your agenda for a self-reliant youth. Her leadership will inspire Uganda’s young generation.
