Kenya Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz have officially confirmed Ugandan forward Pius Wangi as their latest signing.
“We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of Pius Wangi,” the club confirmed on Sunday.
The pint-sized industrious attacker now becomes Kakamega Homeboyz’ sixth addition to the 2024-25 squad.
The experienced striker joins Kakamega HomeBoyz from Mbarara City, to revitalize the Kenyan side’s attack.
Wangi is proven winner, who in the recent past has won the Uganda Premier League, the Uganda Cup and the CECAFA U-20 title.
He has played for almost all the traditional big teams in the UPL, including Express, SC Villa, Police, Vipers and Rwanda top division side Sunrise.
In Kenya, Wangi will link up with another Ugandan player, leftback Farouk Musisi who has now spent two seasons at the club.
