Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) has conducted a new Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) draw. This was the second RSWP draw conducted by the department in August.
If you have been invited to this Quebec latest draw, you will receive a notification in your Arrima message centre with the information needed to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR).
Quebec Latest Draw – Results
The Quebec latest draw was held on August 08, 2024. A total of 1,415 candidates from the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) were invited to apply for permanent selection. The date and time of extraction from the Arrima bank was August 5, 2024, at 6:25 a.m.
The invitations were issued to candidates that met the following criteria:
- They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French.
- They had a score equal to or greater than 576 points.
Invitations were also issued to candidates that met the following criteria:
- They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French.
- They had a valid job offer outside the territory of Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.
The decision to invite candidates to apply for permanent residence is made based on the invitation criteria set by Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI). Once invited, you have 60 days to submit the complete application and pay the processing fees.
Once this timeframe passes, your invitation will no longer be valid.
A total of 15 Quebec RSWP draws have been conducted so far in 2024. In 2023, Quebec conducted 16 RSWP draws and invited a total of 17,408 candidates to apply for permanent residence. This Quebec latest draw is a continuation of the province issuing high invites with low scores.
The same trend is expected to be carried out throughout 2024.
