In its first Expression of Interest draw of 2022 and the first since November, Saskatchewan issued 104 invitations to apply across two streams. Candidates with skills and experience in one of six National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes won 67 invites in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program draw on January 12, with a minimum score of 68 points, three more than the previous draw.
Express Entry candidates with skills and experience in the same NOC codes who also obtained a minimum score of 68 points received a total of 37 invitations.

In the professions In-Demand category, 67 candidates were invited with a minimum score requirement of 68 points, while 37 were invited with again a minimum score requirement of 68 points. These invited individuals should have their educational credentials evaluated as soon as possible. The following NOCs are on the list: 3211, 3234, 4151, 3216, 3143, and 3215.

Requirements for the Occupation-In-Demand Sub-Category
It is necessary to have at least 60 points on the SINP points evaluation grid
Have a language score of at least 4 on the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB). Employers and regulatory agencies may request further information
Have completed one year of post-secondary study, training, or apprenticeship in accordance with the Canadian educational system. You must have a diploma, certificate, or degree to apply. Degrees and certifications earned outside of Canada must be assessed by an Educational Credential Assessment Service
At least one year of work experience during the last 10 years, in your educational or training vocation, and working in an approved occupation in NOC A, B, or 0.
If your field necessitates it, get the proper licensure in Saskatchewan, since the authorities will not process your application without it
Have proof of settlement monies on hand, as well as a settlement plan

Requirements for the Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-Category
As long as they are not refugees, candidates from outside Canada or with legal status in Canada are eligible for this Saskatchewan immigration category.
Furthermore, applicants must:
Have a profile in the Express Entry Pool with a profile number and a job seeker validation code;
It is necessary to have at least 60 points on the SINP points evaluation grid.
Provide valid language test results from an authorized testing provider that match the Express Entry profile.
Have completed one year of post-secondary study, training, or apprenticeship in accordance with the Canadian educational system. A diploma, certificate, or degree is required. Outside-of-Canada degrees and certificates must be examined by an Educational Credential Assessment.
You must have at least one of the following experience criteria in your field of study or training:
- In the previous 10 years, one year of work experience in a skilled occupation (non-trades);
- Two years of skilled trades work experience in the past five years; or one year of Canadian work experience in the last three years (trades and non-trades).
Worked in qualified high-skilled employment in NOC A, B, or 0.
If your employment is regulated or you operate in a skilled craft, you must obtain the required licensing in Saskatchewan. Skilled trades require a certificate from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission.
