SCHOOLS URGED TO EMBRACE TALENT DEVELOPMENT IN A BID TO CREATE AVENUES FOR LEARNERS

School administrators in Mitooma district have been called upon to embrace talent development so as to create many avenues for learners.
The call was made on Monday 17, November 2025 by Twezirikire Amuramu, the Mitooma district sports officer while representing the Mitooma district Education Officer Peace Barungi Gloria as the chief guest for talent show day for parental care primary school Kyehimba. The function that was held at Kyehimba play ground in Mitooma sub county Mitooma district.
Amuramu noted that schools should practice many sports activities aiming at taking them to competition at district and national levels so as to open many avenues of learners to excel in and also advertise themselves and the district at large.
Speaking on the same function, Ephraim Atwebembiire the Executive director Christian Future Hope Uganda, an NGO aimed at supporting the school activities noted that if every stakeholder does their work to perfection, development in schools has to be exhibited.
Meanwhile Lamson Ainomugisha the resident director Parental Care primary school Kyehimba noted that they started the school under Pentecostal ministries to balance religion with education which he says has been a success for the past twenty years.
