Speaker Among, President M7 Hold A Meeting With 15,000 NRM Leaders In Bugisu

This afternoon, the Rt. Hon. Anita Among, the NRM 2nd National Vice Chairperson (Female), together with the Party Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, convened a meeting of all NRM village chairpersons, LC leaders, and party flag bearers at all levels from the Bugusu sub-region.

The engagement aimed at strengthening and empowering the party structures to take the lead in sensitising communities about the government’s planned service delivery as outlined in the NRM Manifesto.

H.E. the President, Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who officiated as Chief Guest, called upon leaders to closely monitor the implementation of government programmes and to promote leaders who are committed to development.

The President further encouraged leaders to champion value addition in agriculture, noting that farmers can only realise meaningful profits when they process their produce rather than selling raw materials.
