Statement by the Nasser International Forum – Sudan Chapter on the Atrocities in El Fasher, Darfur » The Hoima Post –

The Nasser International Forum – Sudan Chapter expresses its strong condemnation and profound concern over the serious violations and atrocities inflicted upon civilians in El Fasher, North Darfur, following recent actions by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

We categorically denounce the deliberate attacks on civilians, medical facilities, and humanitarian operations, which represent a clear violation of international humanitarian law and human rights standards. Such actions amount to war crimes and demand accountability.

We urge the United Nations, African Union, League of Arab States, and all international partners to take immediate measures to protect civilians, ensure unhindered humanitarian access, and hold perpetrators responsible for these egregious crimes.

The Forum emphasizes the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire, the establishment of humanitarian corridors, and the safeguarding of displaced and vulnerable populations, particularly women and children, in accordance with international humanitarian obligations.

We reaffirm our solidarity with the people of Sudan and call on all national actors to favor dialogue over violence and to work collectively toward a comprehensive, inclusive, and peaceful political solution that restores stability, unity, and dignity across the nation.

The Nasser International Forum – Sudan Chapter remains committed to supporting all efforts aimed at ending the suffering in Darfur and preserving Sudan’s territorial integrity and social cohesion.
