African Descent Ontario To Host Nigeria Stat Ada Ehi In Mega Concert » The Hoima Post –

TORONTO, ON – The global stage is set for a monumental gathering as African Descent Ontario (ADSON) officially announces the African Descent Summit 2026. Scheduled to take place from July 17–19, 2026, in Toronto, this high-profile event arrives at a historic juncture, coinciding with the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The summit, themed around “Honouring Global Contributions, Justice, Wellness, and Cultural Legacy,” aims to unite the African diaspora during one of the world’s most significant moments of unity. While the city pulses with the energy of international football—a sport heavily shaped by athletes of African descent—the summit will provide a dedicated space for dialogue, recognition, and spiritual rejuvenation.

The summit’s spiritual and cultural climax will be the “Divine Encounter” concert on Saturday, July 18, 2026, featuring internationally acclaimed gospel minister Ada Ehi.

Hosted at the Toronto Pavilion, the evening promises an “unforgettable experience of worship and inspiration.” More than just a musical performance, the concert serves a philanthropic mission: a portion of the proceeds will support the development of a Safe Addiction Recovery Centre for Youth in Kawanda, helping provide trauma-informed care and healing to young people in need.
