Uncle Murda recently dropped his annual “Rap Up,” where he took shots at various hip-hop figures over the most scandalous moments of 2023, including Diddy, Gunna, Will Smith, and Blueface. Among the targets was Troy Ave, accused of snitching on Taxstone during their legal battle.
Reacting to the diss, Troy Ave responded on Instagram, expressing his reluctance to escalate the situation further. However, DJ Self shared that Troy Ave actually recorded a diss track in response to Uncle Murda’s comments, but he has chosen not to release it out of “love and respect” for Uncle Murda.
Despite not dropping the track, DJ Self played a snippet from the end of the song in a recording. What are your thoughts on Troy Ave’s response and DJ Self’s decision not to release the diss track? Share your opinions in the comment section below.
