UCU Mourns their Murdered Dean of Students

Mukono, Uganda- Situation at Uganda Christian University (UCU) based in Mukono is in sombre mood as they mourn their beloved colleague, sister, and friend, Dean of Students UCU, Pamela Tumwebaze.

“Her life was brutally cut short by thugs who broke into her home last night and attacked her. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries this morning in Hospital. Pamela was the youngest Dean of Students, a beacon of kindness, compassion, and strength, touching countless lives at UCU and beyond.” Reads part of the announcement from UCU Management

It further stated that her warmth, empathy, and listening ear endeared her to many, and she will be deeply missed. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched.

UCU further extended heartfelt condolences to her family, the UCU community, friends, and loved ones. Details of her sendoff will be shared soon.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Spokes person, Luke Oweyisgyire , the deceased was attacked by assailants at her home.
