The Uganda Golf Club has officially announced the much-anticipated return of the Ladies Open, scheduled to take place from August 15 to 17.
This prestigious event will gather top female golfers from across the country and neighboring regions, all vying for the coveted title.
The tournament will be organized into three divisions: Ladies Silver, Ladies Bronze, and a subsidiary division, ensuring that golfers of all skill levels can participate and compete.
This inclusive approach promises an exciting and diverse competition.
In addition to the Ladies Open, the men’s Gross tournament will run concurrently from August 13 to 15, adding to the competitive spirit of the event.
“Once again, we have scheduled the Ladies Open right before the Uganda Open to give the ladies and golfers coming from outside of Uganda a chance to participate in two ladies opens. We expect to have a good field for our tournament,” stated Wendy Angudeyo, the UGC Lady Captain.
The event is proudly sponsored by Uganda Airlines, Aquafina/Pepsi, Kampala Serena, NCBA Bank, Kenya Airways, NBS Sport, Home Bliss, Wandaz Products, White Cap Crisp, and Case Medical Centre.
