Uganda Premier League side URA FC have parted ways with three players: goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa, midfielder Nicholas Kabonge, and winger Ronald Andabati.
The trio joined the club in 2023 on two-year contracts but have been released after just one year.
Omedwa, who signed from Arua Hill, played 11 games last season, while Kabonge, a former SC Villa player, struggled for game time, featuring in only six matches.
Andabati joined from Buganda Regional League side Lugazi Stars FC and played on a double license with Kiyinda Boys in the Big League last season, made seven appearances for URA FC.
The three players join Viane Ssekajuko, Hassan Kalega, Steven Mwaka, Saidi Kyeyune, and Dada Ibrahim, who had earlier left the club.
Meanwhile, URA FC have signed several new players, including Isma Mugulusi, Vuni Bright Joseph, Ibrahim Kazindula, George Masembe, Derrick Ochan, and Abdul Magada, although the latter five are yet to be officially announced.
The Tax Collectors will begin their 2024/2025 Uganda Premier League campaign with an away match against KCCA FC on September 13th before a home game against Mbarara City at their new Nakivubo Stadium on September 28th.
